My mum, Regina Rose was an amazing woman, loving and courageous. She successfully raised five children in Lagos, Nigeria, a difficult task, given the peer pressure and funny characters in the city.
A tall and beautiful woman, we inherited some of her traits including her long graceful fingers, curly eye lashes and full head of hair. A few of her children did inherit her height and skin tone, which escaped some of us.
I am so blessed to have a mother with such deep love and compassion for her children.
I want to use my blog page to honour her today, the 20th December 2020.
Read my article on Lagos lifestyle where I shared my fondest childhood memory and a couple of pictures.
